Mashallah it looks really serene
masha’allah!!! so exciting, I wanna be there!!!! duas duas duas xxx
Subhanallah, when I first saw this landscape whizzing past us in the minubus from Makkah to Madinah, I remembered that at the time of the Prophet (saw) it would take them days if not weeks by camel to cover what we did in 4 hours! Alhamdulillah what comfort! x
You’re right Safiya! It generally takes us around 10 hours to get from Riyadh to Makkah (more than twice that on this occasion though!!) but what a luxury compared to how long a trip from Najd used to take back in the time of the Prophet peace be upon him!
The landscape of Saudi Arabia changes vastly! From pale yellow sands in the east to orange sands in Najd which change to blackish around Madinah due to ancient volcanic activity.
Yes very serene!
